“Guy’s Night Out” Presented by Growth Fund One

Monday, October 11, 2010 – In conjunction with the Sunset Club and Growth Fund One, we're hosting the "Guy's Night Out" event series the 3rd Wednesday of the month thereafter.  Our next GNO event is Wednesday, October 20th.  “Guys Night Out” is designed to be a night exclusively for the guys, by the guys.  This evening MyUptownFun.com is giving you the opportunity to leave the worries of the workplace and the significant other at home and come out to enjoy some much deserved R&R. At the same time, you'll be donating to a great local charity … "A Journey of Hearts" which helps those assisting loved ones battling Alzheimer’s disease.  Who wouldn't want to kick back after a long day at work, listen to some live acoustic music, smoke a cigar (INSIDE), and enjoy great appetizers and a relaxing scotch or bourbon?  There will be a raffle with many great giveaways throughout the series, as well as a silent auction in an attempt to raise additional proceeds for the charity.  The Sunset Club will provide awesome drink specials for each evening.  Our friends at Tinder Box are going to come out and share their expertise with cigar demonstrations.  Also, we'll have several businesses that cater "to the guys" in Charlotte; a customer clothier, a foreign sports car dealer, a high-end men's grooming lounge, local realtors, investment companies, and many more. This will surely be a night you do not want to miss!
